Cross Country Finishes Season Strong at WVIAC Championships

Wheeling, WV-Both teams had an impressive showing with the men’s team finishing 3rd out of 11 and the women’s team finishing 4th out of 13.
The women’s team edged out Seton Hill for 4th with a score a 95. Dani Pye led Concord finishing 8th with a time of 24:32, senior Amanda Blankenship was next in 14th with a time of 25:08, and rounding out the top 20 finishers for the Mountain Lions was freshman Tabatha Whited in 19th at 25:50.
The men’s team finished 3rd with an overall score of 96. Sophomore John Meadows was Concord’s leading finisher with a time of 28:27 placing him 8th and freshman Nick Lucento was Concord’s other top 20 finisher with 12th and a time of 28:46.
