Charleston, WV- Concord Tennis had a great season this year as they headed to Charleston this past weekend as the 4th seed in the WVIAC tournament. Concord finished the season tied for 3rd as they were haulted by the eventual WVIAC Champions, West Virginia Weselyan College.
Concord entered the tournament facing a talented team in the Charleston Golden Eagles. Concord won the first five matches as they didn't have to play past that point since the match was already won. Concord defeated Charleston 5-0.
Concord then had the tough task of returning to action on the same day, Saturday, April 19th. However, the task they was they had to take on the WVIAC's number one team in the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats. The Bobcats were too strong as they defeated the Mountain Lions 5-0.

Concord finished the season with a 11-8 record and tied for third in the WVIAC. Congratulations to the Mountain Lions for a successful season.
