Track and Field Dominate WVIAC Championship

The track teams show a dominating performance during the 2008 WVIAC Track and Field Championship. Fifty two personal records, five conference records, ten championships, two national qualifying marks, runner of the year, and eleven school records.

 

Leading the men, Dustin Greenwood won both the decathlon and the 100 high hurdles. Mo Walters also had a strong contribution to the men’s team scoring twenty points as a freshman. 

 

Leading the women, Karachi Mbagwu finished her career with four championship and runner of the year (six overall career championships). The ladies relay teams set new WVIAC marks in both races and hit a provisional qualifying time in the 4x100.
