Both Concord Cross Country teams carry some momentum into the WVIAC Conference Championship meet this Saturday in Glenville, WV.
The CU men and women each cruised to victory in the Concord Invitational last weekend at Pipestem State Park, leading to CU winning another WVIAC Runner of the Week award.
Robby Peters earned the Men's ROTW honor after finishing first overall at Pipestem. The sophomore covered the 6K course in 21:06.
Peters is the fourth Mountain Lion to win the ROTW. Szymon Rola (September 1) and Craig Pritt (September 29) were men's honorees, while Chelsea Callaway (September 29) was a women's winner.
