The Concord Women's Tennis team will head to Charleston for the WVIAC Championship tournament starting Thursday, October 22.
The Mountain Lions are seeded ninth and will meet Mercer County rival and #8 seed Bluefield State College in a play-in match at 3:00 pm.
Concord defeated the Lady Blues 5-2 in a regular-season match in Bluefield September 29.
The winner of the play-in match advances to meet unbeaten University of Charleston on Friday at 9:00 am. The Golden Eagles are unbeaten in 2009 and the tournament's top seed.
