Volleyball: Mountain Cats Down Mountain Lions

CU Defeated At Carter Center

Concord took the first set in their WVIAC Volleyball match against Pitt-Johnstown Friday night, but the Mountain Cats rallied to take the next three and get the victory at the Carter.

At one point in the first set, Pitt-Johnstown started to comeback from down five until Emily Wilson had a crucial ace to put the Mountain Lions up one and gave them a chance to win the set, which they did.

The next three sets belonged to the Mountain Cats as they fought through a couple of miscues. Pitt-Johnstown started off the second set hitting a few serves deep, but Concord couldn't seem to get ahead. Which is the same story for sets three and four.

The next game for the Mountain Lions is tomorrow morning, starting at 11 a.m. This is also the time where the Volleyball team will honor its two seniors, Megan Epperley and Kelly Newberry.
