Track & Field Competes In Ohio
Only Indoor Meet Of Fall Semester

With winter weather making its presence felt outside, Concord’s Track & Field teams took to the indoors for the Marietta College First Glimpse on Saturday, at the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center in Marietta, OH.
 
It was the Mountain Lions’ only indoor meet of the fall semester.
 
 
Among the highlights for Concord:
 
 
MEN
 
RJ Anderson won the Men’s 55-Meter Dash in 6.53 seconds. His time in the finals was .12 better than in his preliminary heat.
Anderson also finished third in the 200 meters.
 
Lance McDaniel won the mile, an event in which Concord had seven of the eight top finishers.
 
John Gadowski was runner-up in the 55-meter hurdles, at 8.19 seconds – just .16 back of DeWitt Hudson of Robert Morris.
 
Robby Peters was 4th and John Meadows 7th in the mile.
 
Christian Gorrell finished 10th in the 400-meter dash.
 
Brad Dugan topped Concord’s contingent in the 300-meter dash with a 6th-place finish.
 
 
 
WOMEN
 
Brittany Robbins won the 200-meter dash in 27.09 seconds. Crystal Jones was 8th and Lacy Herring 14th.
 
Shawnee Carnett and Lindsey DeVaughn finished 1-2 in the mile.
 
In the 55-meter dash, Erin Barnett crossed the line a scant .01 ahead of teammate Lydia Powell for 4th place.
 
Brittany Pratt was 5th in the long jump, Moe Isihara 7th in the 3000 meters, and Jessica Boggs 13th in the pole vault.
