After a rough day in round one of the Lady Falcon/McNairy Invitational in Badin, NC, the young Concord Women's Golf Team took to the links hoping to improving their showing on day two.
They never got the chance.
Here's the explanation, from a story on the website of Pfeiffer University, which hosted the invitational:
Due to a USGA rules infraction where teams played different tees on multiple holes, the second and final round of the 2009 Lady Falcon/McNairy Invitational was erased.
All scores (individual and team) from yesterday and yesterday only, will count.

The Indians conquered the 5,922-yard, Par 72 layout of the Old North State Club at Uwharrie Point with a score of 310 (+22) beating USC-Beaufort by three and Carson-Newman by five. Newberry finishes fourth while host Pfeiffer and California University of Pennsylvania tie for fifth.
Concord finished 13th with a team score of 389.
