Spring & Winter Sports News

Updated On January 24

While Concord's two Winter sports teams march through their seasons, three of CU's Spring teams have announced their 2010 schedules.

SOFTBALL
head coach Sabrina McCullough has firmed up her team's game calendar, particularly the spring break trip to Florida to play in the Cocoa Expo Spring Training event in Titusville, FL.

McCullough begins her second season at the helm of the Lady Lions program with a doubleheader at Lincoln Memorial University (TN) on Thursday, February 18.

Concord will play its first 20 games of the season on the road – including the spring break trip – before the Lady Lions' home opener against Slippery Rock (PA) on Sunday, March 14.

The schedules for MEN'S GOLF and WOMEN'S GOLF are beginning to take shape.

The Men's team is looking forward to a strong spring season after finishing runner-up in the WVIAC Championships last October.
A young Women's team is looking to build on a 3rd-place showing in last fall's season-ending WVIAC Northern Regional. Five of the six players on the CU roster are freshmen or sophomores.
