The Concord Men's Basketball team lost its third consecutive game, falling 142-62 at West Liberty State on Saturday afternoon.

West Liberty fell four points shot of tying the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's single-game scoring record.

CU falls to 3-12, 2-8 in the WVIAC.  The Hilltoppers improved to 13-1, 9-1, and maintained their share of the league lead.

West Liberty State shot .563 from the field (54-96) while limiting Concord to .358 (24-67).  The Hilltoppers attempted a remarkable 45 three-point shots, 21 in the second half after the game's outcome had long been decided.  They made 22 of their long-range attempts to finish at .489.  
Concord was 3-19 from beyond the arc.

The Hilltoppers outrebounded the Mountain Lions 60-33, 22-9 in offensive rebounds.

Eight Hilltoppers scored in double figures, led by John Wolosinczuk's 36 points.  Teammate Mike Mathey finished with a triple-double of 13 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists.

Freshman center Rick Alderman topped Concord with a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds.  Fellow rookie Kortea Johnson added 12 points.

Concord returns to play on Thursday, January 28, hosting the University of Charleston in a WVIAC doubleheader at the Carter Center.
The women's game begins at 5:30 pm EST, with the men scheduled for 7:30.
