When Mike Kellar took over as Concord's head football coach in December 2008, he pledged that one of his top priorities would be to recruit local players.

Kellar has not only lived up to that promise, he's happy with the results.

Two of the Mountain Lions' top 2010 signees hail from Fred Simon's powerhouse program in Bluefield, WV.  
Bluefield Daily Telegraph sports editor Brian Woodson has written a pair of features on the Beavers' duo of Jake Lilly and Marcus Patterson, who joined the Concord program on National Signing Day.
