MEN'S GOLF SECURES TOURNAMENT BID

MOUNTAIN LIONS #2 SEED IN ATLANTIC REGION

The Concord Men's Golf team hopes to go far in the 2010 post-season.

They won't have to travel far to start their playoff journey.

The Mountain Lions have secured the #2 seed in the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Region tournament, to be held May 3rd-5th at the Glade Springs Resort in Daniels, WV -- only about 30 miles from the Concord campus.

The Mountain Lions have enjoyed recent success at Glade Springs. Concord won its own invitational tournament there March 21st, and finished third in last year's regional meet.

Concord is one of five West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference teams in the regional field.
