Perhaps three really is a magic number.
On the 3rd day of the month, competing in their third meet this season hosted by a Division 1 school in North Carolina, Concord’s Track & Field teams set three school records.
At the Duke Invitational in Durham, NC, the Mountain Lions got record-breaking performances from Lance McDaniel (men’s 3000-meter steeplechase), Megan Savoli (women’s 400-meter hurdles) and multi-time WVIAC Athlete of the Week Shawnee Carnett (women’s 800 meter run).
Other highlight showings by Concord included:
Sterling Snyder, 10th in the men’s 10000 meters
Tabitha Whited, 17th in the women’s 10000 meters
Carli Stout, 20th in the women’s 3000 meter steeplechase
The Mountain Lions return to competition in the Glenville State Invitational in Glenville, WV on Friday, April 9th.
