Perhaps three really is a magic number.

On the 3rd day of the month, competing in their third meet this season hosted by a Division 1 school in North Carolina, Concord’s Track & Field teams set three school records.

At the Duke Invitational in Durham, NC, the Mountain Lions got record-breaking performances from Lance McDaniel (men’s 3000-meter steeplechase), Megan Savoli (women’s 400-meter hurdles) and multi-time WVIAC Athlete of the Week Shawnee Carnett (women’s 800 meter run).

Tabitha Whited, 17th in the women’s 10000 meters
