Concord head coach Mike Kellar couldn't help but note the versatility of Jake Lilly, after the Bluefield (WV) High School star Jake Lilly signed a letter of intent to play for the Mountain Lions last February.

"We first listed Jake as a 'football player' because he's capable of playing any position on the field," Kellar said.  "Whatever spot he winds up playing, he'll have an excellent college career."

Lilly showed his versatility in the North-South Classic Football Classic -- West Virginia's annual all-star game for just-graduated high school players -- Saturday, June 19th in Charleston.

The incoming Mountain Lion earned game MVP honors for his performance.  For more on the story, here's an article in the June 20th edition of the Bluefield Daily Telegraph:.
