The weather forecast for next Saturday's Concord Football game against Seton Hill calls for sunny skies and a seasonal high temperature in the low 60s.

Perfect weather for a blackout.

The game between the Mountain Lions and SHU on Saturday, October 15, is designated as a “Blackout Game.”
All Concord fans are encouraged to wear black to the contest, which kicks off at 1:00 pm at Callaghan Stadium.

If you don't have black to wear, Concord's Student Athlete Advisory Council will have a limited number of “blackout” t-shirts for sale.  The cost is $7 for a short-sleeve shirt and $10 for a long-sleeve shirt.  The shirts will be available while supplies last.  For more information, call CU Athletics at (304) 384-5347.

What's more, Concord's Softball team will be selling adhesive "eyeblack" face stickers at the gate on Saturday, and at every CU home athletic event this week.  The stickers are $2 a pair.

The "eyeblack" stickers will be on sale at the Men's Soccer match against Shippensburg (PA) at 2:00 pm Monday and at the Volleyball team's three home matches this week.  The Lady Lions host West Virginia Wesleyan at 7:00 Monday night, Mountain State at 7:00 Thursday night and Glenville State at 1:00 Friday afternoon.

At 3-1 in the WVIAC, the Concord Football team is in the running for a berth in the NCAA playoffs.  Next Saturday's game against the Griffins will be CU's last home game until the regular-season finale against West Virginia Wesleyan on November 12.
