Two school records and three victories highlighted the Concord track and field teams' performance at the Marietta Open #3 on Friday at the Dyson Baudo Center in Marietta, OH.

Jeff Fertig set a school record in his victory in the men's high jump.  Fertig's leap of 2.05 meters (6.87 feet) set a new CU record and provisionally qualified the junior from Pocahontas, WV for next month's NCAA National Indoor Championship meet.

Casey Ord re-set her Concord record in the women's long jump, leaping 5.19 meters / 17' 1/3".  The senior from Palmerton, PA broke her own record of 5.11 meters / 16' 9" set at Marietta on January 22.

Another Concord win came from R.J. Anderson in the men's 55 meter dash.  His time of 6.41 seconds "was just off his best time this year,” said CU head coach Mike Cox.
Anderson has already provisionally qualified for the NCAA national meet.

Rachel Williams won the women's 3000 meter run (10:59.74), with teammate Chelsea Callaway the runner-up (11:12.84).
