ATHENS, W.Va. – Freshmen
Samuel Berry and
Thomas Frazier were selected to participate in the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional Golf Tournament May 4-6 at Longaberger Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.

Despite missing out on qualifying as a team, Berry and Frazier will represent the Mountain Lions at the regional tournament for the first time since 2012-2013 when CU qualified as a team.
This season, Berry and Frazier were named to the All-Mountain East Conference First Team while Berry was selected as the MEC Freshman of the Year.
The freshmen duo joined Clarion's Sean Edgar and Bluefield State's Kirk Collins as the other two individuals to be selected from the Atlantic Region to the tournament.
Charleston, Notre Dame and West Liberty were selected as teams from the MEC to play at the regional.
The top three teams and two individual golfers not with a team from each regional will advance to the national tournament May 18-22 at Rock Barn Golf & Spa in Conover, North Carolina.
